Changes at Kirk Session
I am reminded of the old story of waiting and waiting for a bus and eventually 2 turn up!
At the May meeting of Kirk Session I indicated my intention to retire as Clerk to the Session. I take this opportunity to thank all for the help, support and encouragement I have received during those 11 years – it truly was an honour and privilege and yes, very enjoyable, well most of the time.
During the service on 18th September 2 new Session Clerks, Christine Hainey and Kevin Wadsworth were installed and took the oath in front of the congregation. They bring many diverse gifts and will make a great team during this time of change.
I wish God’s Blessing on all their work for the Session
